The Old Guard: A Roundup of Fan-Made Creations

There’s nothing I love more than a fandom feeling inspired, rising up together, and putting their creativity to work in a variety of ways.

Earlier in July, Skydance and Netflix released The Old Guard, an action-packed movie about a group of immortals who come across as more human and morally guided than the people chasing after them. Leading them is Andromache the Scythian (Charlize Theron), a warrior who’s lived long enough to see civilizations rise and fall. Her friends (or family, considering how close they are to each other) are Booker (Matthias Schoenaerts), Joe (Marwan Kenzari), and Nicky (Luca Marinelli), and each one comes with their own story and struggles. The newest member is Nile (Kiki Layne), a young soldier with a refreshing perspective and who acts as a reminder to Andy that there’s people out there worth fighting for.

The movie easily won audiences over, especially those people with the skills and artistry necessary to make Old Guard inspired products.

If you’re an Andy fan and you love to bake, SweetEliteCutters has the perfect kitchen item for you. Made possible with the help of 3D printing, this one-of-a-kind cookie cutter will make your next viewing of The Old Guard much sweeter with a plate of axe-shaped cookies on your lap.

It comes in different sizes and the shop will include a recipe and baking tips with your package. Find it on Etsy.

It’s safe to say we all fell in love with Joe and Nicky. They’re so soft and their relationship is so pure, you can’t help but constantly think about their everlasting love for each other. Now, you can carry them wherever you go in the form of a key charm.

Designed by L3EARFAT, this hologram acrylic charm captures Joe and Nicky’s soft and badass nature in the artist’s colorful and unique style. It’s currently available for preorder, but hurry! There’s only a few left before they’re all gone. Find it on Etsy.

Last but certainly not least, accessories have a way of elevating an outfit, but they’re also the perfect way to flaunt your fandoms. That’s where Optimystical Studios comes in. This handcrafting company specializes in geeky jewelry and accessories. The Eternal Warrior pendant inspired by Andy’s weapon of choice is their latest creation.

As seen above, the pendant has 2 different hanging configurations and comes with a chain that has links shaped like an infinity symbol. Talk about a thing of beauty, especially given the attention to detail. If you’re interested in getting one for yourself or a loved one, reach out to Optimystical Studios on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.
